Among the distinguished passengers on board are Nobel Laureates in Physics Ferenc Krausz and Serge Haroche, Nobel Foundation Senior Advisor Per Josefsson, Professor and former head of the neonatology department at Munich University Hospital Orsolya Henczel-Borovicheny, sociologist and honorary director of medical research at the National Center for Scientific Research in France (CNRS) Claudine Haroche, as well as Vice President of the organization "Science for People" and head of the NGO "Tabula Rasa for Future Generations" Adrien David. This was reported by Ukrzaliznytsia.

As part of their official visit to Ukraine, the delegation of leading scientists, whose opinions are highly respected globally, actively engaged with Ukrainian scientists, educators, and students over several days. They spoke at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Kyiv School of Economics, and V. N. Karazin University in Kharkiv, met with government representatives, and with Oleksandra Matviichuk, chairwoman of the human rights organization "Center for Civil Liberties," awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2022. They also visited the Okhmatdyt Children's Hospital, the de-occupied areas of Kyiv region, the war-damaged buildings of Karazin University, and spoke with residents of the frontline Kharkiv region.

The scientists' busy program concluded with a meeting with journalists and the Chairman of the Board of JSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" Oleksandr Pertsovskyi at the railway station in the capital. The Nobel Laureates shared their impressions of what they had seen and emphasized their admiration for the resilience and strength of the Ukrainian people. They expressed their support for Ukrainians and their colleagues in the scientific community, who, despite the brutal reality, continue to dedicate themselves to their work. They noted that they came to convey solidarity from 130 Nobel Laureates, who unequivocally support Ukraine and its people.

Specific decisions regarding the support of young Ukrainian scientists were made during professional-level discussions.

The visit of the Nobel Laureates to Ukraine was organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, with the support of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Kingdom of Sweden and in cooperation with the Kyiv School of Economics (KSE).
