The OLVIA multigrain oilseed processing complex has begun operations in Mykolaiv region and will become an important logistics and production hub for farmers, agribusinesses, and international partners, the agricultural information and analytics agency APK-Inform reported.
According to the report, the project is being implemented in two construction phases, taking into account modern requirements for energy efficiency, environmental sustainability, and production safety. The plant operates on its own steam, generated from processing waste (hulls).
As part of the first phase, the reconstruction of an 84,700 m³ elevator has been completed, expanding production capabilities.
During the construction of the second phase, storage capacities for oil will be increased, additional pressing and preparation workshops, as well as refining, deodorization, freezing, and bottling workshops, will be built. Warehouses for finished products and shipping capacities will be expanded, and the plant will generate its own electricity.
After the second phase is launched, production is expected to double.
“This will enable the enterprise not only to provide a full cycle of oil processing but also to enter the B2C segment, supplying ready branded products with added value to store shelves,” the company emphasized.

OLVIA also plans further expansion of its processing capacities, including establishing production for deep processing of corn into starch, followed by packaging and sales in domestic and international markets.
