Day 333 of the full-scale Russian invasion has begun.
During January 22, the adversary launched 5 air strikes on the positions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces and 1 missile strike on critical infrastructure in the Zaporizhzhia region. The invaders made more than 20 MLRS attacks.
The threat of Russian air and missile strikes on civilian targets across Ukraine remains high.
The enemy focuses its main efforts on offensive operations on the Bakhmut axis. The Russian forces are failing in their offensive on Zaporizhzhia, Avdiivka, and Lyman axes, while defending on Kupyansk, Novopavlivka, and Kherson axes.
Volyn, Polissya, Sivershchyna, and Slobozhanshchyna axes: no significant changes and no offensive groups of the adversary were found. At the same time, the vicinities of settlements of Studenok, Doroshivka, Boyaro-Lezhachi, Iskrykivshchyna, Popivka (Sumy region), Vetarynarne, Strilecha, Zelene, Vovchansk, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, and Kupyansk (Kharkiv region) were shelled with mortars and artillery.
Kupyansk axis: the adversary shelled the vicinities of Petropavlivka, Tabaivka, Krokhmalne (Kharkiv region), Novoselivske, and Stelmakhivka (Luhansk region).
Lyman axis: Makiivka, Ploshchanka, Chervonopopivka, and Kuzmine in the Luhansk region were shelled.
Bakhmut axis: vicinities of 14 settlements came under fire from the enemy artillery. Among them are Verkhnokamyanske, Bilohorivka, Krasna Hora, Bakhmut, Kurdyumivka, and Maiorsk (Donetsk region).
Avdiivka axis: Avdiivka, Nevelske, Heorhiivka, and Marinka came under the enemy fire.
Novopavlivka axis: Bohoyavlenka and Mykilske (Donetsk region) were shelled.
Zaporizhzhia axis: artillery fire hit more than 16 settlements, including Vilne Pole, Vremivka, Novopil’ (Donetsk region), Hulyaipole, Pavlivka, Stepove, Orikhiv, and Mala Tokmachka (Zaporizhzhia region).
Kherson axis: the occupants keep terrorizing the civilian residents. In particular, the vicinities of settlements of Dudchany, Monastyrske, Antonivka, Berehove, Yantarne, and Kherson came under MLRS and artillery fire. There were civilian casualties.
The adversary continues to suffer losses. Thus, trucks and cars with wounded Russian servicemen arrive daily at the city hospital in Nova Kakhovka (Kherson region). The number of eliminated occupants is being finalized.
During January 22, the Ukrainian Air Force launched 3 air strikes on the concentrations of enemy troops; missile and artillery units attacked
2 concentrations of Russian troops and 2 ammunition depots.
