An extensive chamber music tribute to Alfred Schnittke by Daniel Hope and Alexey Botvinov
Ukrainian pianist, the founder of the Odessa Classics International Music Festival and the Seraphim of Mogilev All-Ukrainian Competition for Young Pianists Alexey Botvinov will release a record on the Deutsche Grammophon label.
This is a recording of works by Alfred Schnittke for violin and piano together with the genius violinist Daniel Hope.
Many thanks to Daniel, I think the recording turned out to be special. We wanted to show completely different facets of the heritage of the great composer. I believe this is a significant event for Ukrainian culture - our greats - Richter, Gilels, Oistrakh - recorded on Deutsche Grammophon in the 20th century.
Alexey Botvinov

It was recorded at the Beethoven-Haus Bonn and can be pre-ordered now via the following link: https://dgt.link/hope-schnittke
