In the first half of 2020, Poland exported to Ukraine agricultural products worth a total of almost $ 370 million (approximately PLN 1.4 billion).
Thus, Poland becomes the most important supplier of this type of goods to its Eastern neighbour, with a 11.5% of all imports of agricultural products to Ukraine. The following positions among the largest suppliers to the Ukrainian market were taken by Germany ($ 238 million), Turkey ($ 232 million) and Italy ($ 189 million).
In total, throughout the first half of 2020, Ukrainians imported agricultural products worth $3.2 billion, with an increase of 12.3% on the similar period of the previous year.
