On the border between Ukraine and Poland, traffic at the "Dołhobyczów–Uhryniv" checkpoint will be blocked during the day on January 23 due to a strike by Polish farmers.

According to the State Customs Service of Ukraine, the Polish side reported that farmers plan to stage a protest in front of the checkpoint.

The road leading to the checkpoint is expected to be blocked from 11:00 to 15:30 Polish time.

The State Customs Service warns that Polish farmers may carry out additional protest actions throughout January 23. Ukrainians are advised to consider these circumstances and use alternative checkpoints where there are no strikes.

Polish farmers periodically block borders with Ukraine as a form of protest. While the protests may target various issues, they specifically block checkpoints leading to Ukraine, using them as a tool to pressure the Warsaw government.
