On March 31, representatives from 17 European countries and the European Parliament arrived in Kyiv for a visit.
This was reported by the press service of the Verkhovna Rada.
It is noted that the speakers and deputy speakers of the parliaments of Belgium, the United Kingdom, Denmark, Estonia, Iceland, Spain, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia, Finland, Croatia, the Czech Republic, and Sweden, as well as representatives of the European Parliament, arrived in the capital.
"This visit is a strong symbol of support, solidarity, and trust. I am grateful to my colleagues for their willingness to stand by Ukraine," said the Speaker of the Rada, Ruslan Stefanchuk.
The speakers and deputy speakers of European parliaments took part in events to honor the memory of those who died on the third anniversary of the liberation of Bucha, in the Kyiv region, from Russian forces.
