Justice for Ukraine will not only mean the return of people and territories seized by the aggressor, but also the fair condemnation of Russia's crimes on a global scale. This was emphasized by First Lady Olena Zelenska in an interview with Lord Michael Ashcroft for the British media platform Daily Mail and The Mail on Sunday.

Olena Zelenska expressed her gratitude to him and the entire United Kingdom for their support, which she described as very inspiring and helpful.

In particular, the First Lady commented on the proposals to cede territories for the sake of peace.

"In many myths around the world, there is a plot about a dragon to whom a girl is regularly sacrificed to appease the monster. But the truth is, evil cannot be appeased. The same goes for the aggressor state. If you give the attacker time, they will use it to strengthen themselves, and in 5-8-10 years, it will be our children who have to resist them. Only those who have lost no one can propose such a 'truce.' Meanwhile, Russia is coming up with new ways to kill us," the First Lady stated.

Olena Zelenska also reminded about the upcoming Fourth Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen, which will take place on September 12 in Kyiv and will focus on children's safety. Participants will seek solutions to protect children from modern threats, particularly during armed conflicts.

"The suffering of children is heartbreaking. We, the adults of the world, owe them safety. Making their childhood better is a normal desire for any normal person," emphasized Olena Zelenska.

Background: Michael Ashcroft is a lord and philanthropist who has visited Ukraine eight times since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion. He is also actively collaborating with the Olena Zelenska Foundation on humanitarian projects to help Ukrainians affected by Russian aggression.
