During the night of February 26, 2025 (from 19:00 on February 25), the Russian forces launched 177 strike Shahed drones and various types of imitator UAVs from directions including: Orel, Bryansk, Kursk, Millerovo, Shatalovo, and Primorsk-Akhtarsk in Russia.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and Defense Forces of Ukraine.
As of 09:00, it has been confirmed that 110 Shahed-type drones and other types of UAVs were shot down in Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Mykolaiv, Kherson, and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
66 enemy imitator UAVs were lost without any negative consequences.
As a result of the enemy attack, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Kirovohrad, and Sumy regions were affected.
