On the evening of March 4, the Russian forces once again launched a large-scale attack on Odessa and the Odessa region using strike drones. Fires have been reported, and one person is known to have been injured.
An air raid alert was declared in Odessa region. Monitoring channels reported that 27 strike drones were heading towards Odessa from the Black Sea. A few minutes later, it was clarified that the drones had made a strange maneuver, turned around, and headed back. However, they soon returned.
Monitoring channels also reported that about twenty drones were flying in a group towards the regional center, including Odessa, Chornomorsk, Pivdenny, and other cities.
Powerful explosions were heard in different areas of the city, and residents of Chornomorsk reported similar sounds on social media. Several fires have also been reported in Odessa and its suburbs. Preliminary reports indicate that there are injuries, including a man with shrapnel wounds.
The mayor of Odessa, Hennadiy Trukhanov, later confirmed issues caused by the Russian attack:

According to Kiper, the debris from downed drones damaged private homes in the suburbs of Odessa, causing fires. Emergency services are currently working to extinguish the fires. The number of casualties from the drone attack is being clarified.
Additionally, the Russian forces attacked the Bilhorod-Dnistrovskyi district of Odessa region with ballistic missiles. One rocket hit an empty sanatorium, and the building was almost completely destroyed.
