Russian forces carried out a large-scale attack on industrial and port infrastructure in the Odessa region, causing major fires, regional authorities reported.
According to Odesa regional governor Oleh Kiper, industrial and port facilities were struck, along with a residential dacha area.
Several large fires broke out following the attack. Due to heavy smoke, specialists from the State Emergency Service conducted radiation, chemical and biological monitoring of the affected areas.

Tests found no dangerous substances in the air, Kiper said.
Emergency services have since extinguished all of the fires. No casualties were reported.
Work to clear the damage and deal with the consequences of the attack is continuing at the affected sites.
