Russian forces launched a series of large-scale attacks across Ukraine over the past 24 hours, striking multiple regions with drones, artillery, and missiles. Dozens of civilians were injured, and residential infrastructure was heavily damaged in Zaporizhzhia, Kherson, Donetsk, and Kyiv regions.
Zaporizhzhia region
Russian forces attacked 13 settlements in Zaporizhzhia region over the past day, launching more than 520 strikes. The head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, reported the attacks on Telegram.
"Over the past day, the occupiers carried out 523 strikes on 13 settlements in Zaporizhzhia region," Fedorov wrote.
According to him, Russian troops conducted five airstrikes on Stepnohirsk, Novoandriivka, and Malynivka. Also, 379 drones of various types (mainly FPV) targeted Chervonodniprovka, Kamianske, Huliaipole, Orikhiv, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, and Charivne. Two MLRS strikes were also recorded in Kamianske and Malynivka. The Russian forces launched 137 artillery strikes on the areas of Kamianske, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Solodke, and Preobrazhenka.
According to the regional administration, four reports were received about damage to apartments and private homes.
Kherson region
Five civilians were injured in Kherson region as a result of Russian attacks during the past 24 hours, according to Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, in a post on Telegram.
He reported that the following settlements came under enemy drone terror and artillery fire: Antonivka, Beryslav, Bilozerka, Virivka, Dniprovske, Doslidne, Zamozhne, Zarichne, Zelenivka, Zmiivka, Zorivka, Inhulets, Kizomys, Kozatske, Komyshany, Krupytsia, Lvivove, Mykilske, Mykolaivka, Mylove, Naddniprianske, Novokairy, Olhivka, Osokorivka, Pryozerne, Prydniprovske, Rozlyv, Sadove, Stanislav, Sofiivka, Tyahynka, Ukrayinka, Urozhayne, Chornobaivka, Shyroka Balka, and Kherson.
A residential apartment block, 10 private houses, and several civilian vehicles were damaged. Five people sustained injuries due to the Russian attacks, Prokudin added.
Donetsk region
One civilian was killed and four others injured in Donetsk region over the past day as a result of Russian aggression, according to Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, in a post on Telegram.
"On July 27, the Russians killed one resident of Donetsk region — in Illinivka. Another four people were injured over the past 24 hours," Filashkin reported.
According to the infographic he published, since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion, 3,379 people have been killed and at least 7,685 injured in Donetsk region. These figures do not include casualties from Mariupol and Volnovakha.
Kyiv
In Kyiv's Darnytskyi district, a Russian attack damaged glazing on a high-rise building from the 6th to the 11th floors, resulting in five people being wounded by shrapnel, including a two-year-old girl.
The National Police stated this on Facebook.
"The blast wave damaged glazing on a high-rise building from the 6th to the 11th floors, resulting in five people being wounded by shrapnel. Among the injured is a two-year-old girl with lacerations to her foot. Doctors have hospitalized the victims," the statement reads.
Several cars parked in the building’s courtyard were also damaged.
