Overnight and throughout the past day, multiple regions of Ukraine have suffered renewed attacks by Russian forces, resulting in injuries, destruction of civilian infrastructure, and active defense efforts by Ukrainian forces.
Dnipropetrovsk Region:
The Nikopol district came under drone attack, with FPV drones targeting the district center and the communities of Pokrovska and Marhanets. Serhii Lysak, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, reported four injuries, all receiving medical care. The strikes damaged a medical clinic, an administrative building, several apartment blocks, a store, a market, a vehicle, and a power line. Ukrainian air defense shot down two enemy missiles and five UAVs overnight.
Kherson Region:
Russian drone terror, artillery shelling, and airstrikes hit multiple localities, including Antonivka, Beryslav, Bilozerka, and Kherson city. Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional State Administration, confirmed four civilians were injured. The attacks damaged seven apartment buildings, 25 private homes, gas pipelines, farm buildings, garages, and vehicles.
Cherkasy Region:
Air defenses successfully neutralized 19 Russian drones during the night of June 27, according to Ihor Taburets, head of the Regional Military Administration. While no casualties were reported, drone debris damaged windows in three houses, a utility building, and a power line. Emergency crews are responding to the damage.
Sumy Region:
Russian forces launched 30 strikes across 16 settlements in nine territorial communities, with Sumy and Shostka districts suffering the most attacks. The assaults included drone strikes and the use of VOG grenades. A 14-year-old boy was hospitalized after a cartridge exploded accidentally. Additionally, 54 residents were evacuated from border communities.
Mykolaiv Region:
The Kutsurub community endured drone and artillery attacks on June 26-27, damaging five private houses in the village of Dmytrivka and causing dry grass fires outside populated areas. No casualties were reported. Ukrainian air defense was active in the region overnight. The Ochakiv community was also targeted by a drone attack early June 27, with no injuries reported.
Donetsk Region:
On June 26, one resident of Kostiantynivka was killed and 11 others injured by Russian strikes, according to Vadym Filashkin, head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration. The official casualty figures for the region since the start of the conflict stand at 3,289 killed and 7,390 wounded, excluding Mariupol and Volnovakha.
Kyiv Region:
A massive overnight assault involving missiles and drones targeted the Kyiv region. Ukrainian air defenses intercepted several enemy targets. One man was injured in Fastiv district and treated on site. Damage occurred to a private house in Boryspil and Fastiv districts, and to a tire repair facility with five vehicles in Bila Tserkva district. No critical infrastructure was hit.
Kharkiv Region:
On June 26, Russian strikes killed one man and injured four others. Oleg Synegubov, regional administration head, reported the casualties occurred across several villages. The attacks involved 47 unguided missiles, 13 GAB bombs, and a Shahed-type drone. Civilian homes and agricultural enterprises were damaged in Kupiansk and Izium districts.
