The 7th Rapid Reaction Corps of the Air Assault Forces reported that in September, in the area of the Pokrovsk agglomeration within their defensive sector, Russian infantry losses increased by almost 30%.
This was stated by the 7th RRC of the Air Assault Forces on Facebook.
It is reported that last month Ukrainian forces neutralized 1,851 Russian soldiers. Of those, irrecoverable losses were 1,202, and sanitary (wounded) losses were 649. In August, the defenders neutralized 1,456 Russians: 928 irrecoverable, 528 sanitary.
Also in September the defenders of Pokrovsk destroyed three tanks, put 41 guns and MLRS out of action, and engaged/forced down 3,248 aerial targets — drones and “winged” missiles.
It is also reported that that month, thanks to the start of using special interceptor drones over the skies of Pokrovsk, they neutralized 50% more Shaheds than in August.
“The increase in enemy losses is not only the result of unsuccessful enemy attempts to attack and seize Pokrovsk, but also of the coordinated actions of the defenders of the agglomeration. We are studying the methods and nature of enemy infiltration actions. Based on the analysis, we are blocking attempts by new sabotage groups to penetrate Pokrovsk. Thanks to the successful actions of drone crews, we are more often able to strike Russians at their concentration points and on approaches to our troops’ forward positions. We are gradually expanding the boundaries of ‘kill zones,’ launching FPV drones several dozen kilometers into the enemy’s rear. We are increasing strikes on the enemy in their logistical corridors. If necessary, we allocate internal reserves to accomplish assigned tasks.”
According to the military, in Zviriv the corps’ units hold positions along the southern outskirts of the built-up area. Cutting blockade lines have been arranged on the Russian routes of advance. Strike-and-search detachments destroy individual groups of Russians who penetrate into the town.
It is noted that the Russian forces do not abandon attempts to encircle Pokrovsk. The Rusian forces are increasing pressure to approach and attack Myrnohrad from the north and east. West of Pokrovsk the Russians has gained additional opportunities to cut one of the logistical routes.
