Lviv region
In Lviv, a fire broke out at the Sparrow Industrial Park following a Russian strike. Mayor Andriy Sadovyi reported this on Telegram.
“In Lviv, the Sparrow Industrial Park is on fire. It is a civilian facility with no military component,” Sadovyi noted.
2 people were killed and 2 others injured as a result of a hostile attack, according to Maksym Kozytskyi, head of the Lviv Regional Military Administration.
UPDATE: A family of 4 was killed near Lviv as a result of a Russian attack. Among the victims was a 15-year-old girl.
Ivano-Frankivsk region
During the night of October 5, Russian forces carried out a massive attack on the Ivano-Frankivsk region, targeting critical infrastructure.
“Last night, the enemy once again launched a massive attack on the Ivano-Frankivsk region. Air defense forces were active. The targets were critical infrastructure facilities,” the head of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Military Administration, Svitlana Onyshchuk wrote.
According to preliminary information, there were no casualties.
It is noted that in one of the region’s communities, a residential building was partially damaged as a result of the attack.
Zaporizhzhia region
Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces carried out 702 strikes on 18 settlements across the Zaporizhzhia region, according to the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov.
According to him, the eRussian forces launched one missile strike on Heorhiivske. Russian forces conducted 13 airstrikes targeting Zaporizhzhia, Stepove, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne, Malynivka, Poltavka, and Chervona Krynytsia. A total of 430 UAVs of various types (mostly FPV drones) attacked Zaporizhzhia, Malokaterynivka, Novomykhailivka, Chervonodniprovka, Prymorske, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novodanilivka, Mala Tokmachka, Rivnopillia, and Charivne. There were 4 multiple-launch rocket system (MLRS) attacks targeting the areas of Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Poltavka, and Mala Tokmachka, as well as 254 artillery strikes on Chervonodniprovka, Prymorske, Huliaipole, Orikhiv, Shcherbaky, Novodanilivka, Mala Tokmachka, and Charivne.
Authorities received 89 reports of damage to residential buildings, vehicles, and infrastructure facilities.
Kherson region
In the Kherson region, 9 people, including 2 children, were injured over the past day as a result of Russian aggression, as reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.
“Nine people were injured due to Russian aggression, including two children,” Prokudin stated.
According to him, over the past day, Russian drones, airstrikes, and artillery targeted Antonivka, Prydniprovske, Bilozerka, Stanislav, Kizomys, Sofiivka, Shyroka Balka, Veletenske, Nezlamne, Rozlyv, Doslidne, Dniprovske, Ivanivka, Mykilske, Novotiagynka, Tokarivka, Beryslav, Mykhailivka, Kostyrka, Novoraisk, Burhunka, Odradokamianka, Respublikanets, Tiahynka, Chervonyi Maiak, Vesele, and the city of Kherson. Russian forces struck critical and social infrastructure as well as residential areas.
It is reported that the gas leak has been sealed, and there are currently no threats or fires.
Vinnytsia region
During the night of October 5, Russian forces struck an industrial facility in the Vinnytsia region.
“As a result of the enemy’s overnight massive attack on the Vinnytsia region, there was a strike on a civilian industrial facility,” Natalia Zabolotna, First Deputy Head of the Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration wrote.
According to her, there were no casualties, and all emergency services are working at the site.
Cherkasy region
In the Cherkasy region, a power line was damaged after a drone crash, leaving part of the area without electricity. Emergency repair crews are currently working on site, as reported by the head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, Ihor Taburets.
“In the Cherkasy district, a drone crash damaged power lines. Some consumers are without power. Emergency crews from Oblenergo are already working,” the post said.
The air raid alert in the region lasted seven hours. No casualties were reported.
Donetsk region
In the Donetsk region, one person was killed and 13 others were injured over the past day as a result of Russian shelling. The head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin, reported this.
“On October 4, the Russians killed one resident of Donetsk region — in Druzhkivka,” Filashkin stated.
He added that 13 more people were injured across the region during the day. It is noted that the total number of victims in the Donetsk region does not include data from Mariupol and Volnovakha.
The Russian army also carried out an airstrike on Sloviansk in the Donetsk region, injuring 8 people, including a child, according to the Sloviansk City Military Administration.
According to the administration, the city came under another attack on October 4 at around 22:40. Three GAB bombs hit the central part of the city — two strikes on a nine-story residential building and one on an art school.
