Russian forces bombed residential buildings in Kostyantynivka. According to preliminary reports, two people were killed, and five others were injured.

The Donetsk regional police announced this on Facebook.

"As a result of the strikes, several buildings caught fire, trapping people in flames and smoke. There is information about the deaths of a 51-year-old couple. The husband and wife are likely buried under the rubble," the statement reads.

Among the injured are a 72-year-old man and four women aged 58, 70, 75, and 88, all of whom were in their homes at the time. They sustained concussions, traumatic brain injuries, and various wounds. Police paramedics provided first aid and evacuated them to a hospital.

 

 

In Kostyantynivka, 14 civilian objects were damaged, including six apartment buildings, a pharmacy, a store, five civilian cars, and a gas pipeline.

According to the Office of the Prosecutor General, Russian forces repeatedly shelled Kostyantynivka, Druzhkivka, and Oleksiyevo-Druzhkivka during the day, injuring 12 people, including two children.

Druzhkivka was likely struck by a UMPB D-30 SN bomb. In one district, two boys, aged 8 and 9, sustained blast injuries and shrapnel wounds and were hospitalized.

In Kostyantynivka, FAB-250 bombs with UMPK guidance struck a densely populated residential area.

According to prosecutors, around 90 private and multi-story buildings, 14 vehicles, a store, a pharmacy, a garage, power lines, and a gas pipeline were damaged in the attacks.
