Late in the evening on March 7, Russian forces launched another attack on Odessa. The city's civilian and energy infrastructure was targeted by drone strikes.

This was reported by the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper, via Telegram.

"The enemy has once again carried out a massive drone strike on Odessa’s civilian and energy infrastructure," the statement reads.

Kiper added that the attack caused damage and destruction. In particular, debris from the strikes ignited a fire at an industrial building and a gas station.

"All relevant services are working to mitigate the consequences of the attacks. Information about casualties is being clarified," Kiper added.

"As a result of the massive drone attack, fires broke out in Odesa. A hangar with agricultural machinery, an auto repair shop, a car parts store, solar panels stored in an open area, and a four-story industrial building caught fire," emergency services reported.

Additionally, critical infrastructure was affected. Fortunately, according to preliminary reports, there are no casualties or injuries.

"Fires were extinguished by rescuers from the State Emergency Service, the National Guard, city council units, and volunteers," the report states.

Meanwhile, Odesa Mayor Hennadii Trukhanov also addressed the attack in a post, confirming that the enemy continues to target energy and civilian infrastructure. As a result of the attack, industrial and service sector facilities, as well as residential buildings, were damaged.
