A sunflower oil extraction plant (OEP) with a processing capacity of 280 tons per day and storage facilities for 92,000 tons of seeds in the western part of Poltava region has been put up for sale.

The enterprise occupies 13.8 hectares of leased land and features three railway access tracks, two 80-ton weighbridges, six presses, three roasters, an additional grain cleaning and aspiration area, and a filtration and oil cooling section. It has a modern Italian boiler house adapted for oil pressing and extraction, including two industrial boilers using husks as fuel, water treatment equipment, a condenser room, a generator with necessary equipment, and a station for producing fuel briquettes from husks.

The plant’s processing capacity is 280 tons of sunflower per day, with residual oil in the meal at 20% (up to 120 tons per day) or 10%, depending on configuration.

The site has a designated area for . Estimated investment to create and equip a 280 t/day extraction complex ranges from $2 to $2.5 million, depending on equipment configuration, production capacity, and level of automation.

Storage infrastructure includes: floor elevator storage for 80,000 tons, metal silos for 12,000 tons, a vertical oil storage tank of 1,000 tons, four loading pits, three dryers at 50 t/h each, and six BSH 100 units. Oil storage consists of internal and external tanks with capacities of 58 tons and 454 tons, respectively.

The site has power units of 400 kW and 1600 kW, artesian water well at 150 m depth (owned by the local community), and gas supply from a GRS at a flow rate of 250 m³/hour.

There is no other oil extraction plant within a 180 km radius.

The owners expect to sell 100% of the enterprise for $4 million (stress price/quick sale)
