South Korea will continue to help Ukraine restore peace and rebuild the war-torn country. This was stated by the spokesperson of the South Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Lee Jae-woong, during a briefing, as reported by Yonhap.
Commenting on the suspension of military aid to Ukraine by the United States, Lee said, "We are closely monitoring relevant developments."
According to the diplomat, Seoul has no intention of changing its current policy of aid to Ukraine.
"We will continue our efforts to support the swift restoration of peace in and reconstruction of Ukraine," the spokesperson of the foreign ministry noted.

Due to national legislation, South Korea does not provide weapons to Ukraine but supplies certain non-lethal types of military equipment and funds demining, humanitarian aid, and critical infrastructure restoration programs.
At the same time, when the regime in North Korea began large-scale arms supplies to Russia and in October last year sent military personnel to support Russia's war against Ukraine, Seoul stated that it might reconsider its position, lift restrictions, and begin supplying Ukraine with the necessary weapons to defend against Russian aggression.
