The State Property Fund of Ukraine is set to sell the government-run Odesavynprom wine production company, with the auction scheduled for September 14, at a starting price of UAH 65.3 million (US$2.45 million).
This was announced by the press service of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine.
The Odesavynprom property complex has been put up for privatization auction on September 14. The starting price of the asset is UAH 65.3 million.
The winner of the transparent bidding will receive ownership, including production buildings, warehouses for manufactured products, and cellars for wine processing and storage. The real estate property of the enterprise with a total area of ââover 22,000 square meters is located in Odessaâs Frantsuzskyi Boulevard, Nalivna, and Otamana Holovatoho Streets.
As of today, Odesavynprom's facilities are being leased by a private company.
As reported earlier, in 2020-2021, the state budget is expected to receive about UAH 1.5 billion (over $56 million) from the sale of liquor and wine-producing companies.
