The official YouTube channel of the independent American Sundance Film Festival has released a video presentation of Mstyslav Chernov's new film "2000 Meters to Andriivka."

"This is the story of Ukrainian soldiers fighting for every inch of their land. It's the story of a small forest and the village of Andriivka, located just two hours from my hometown. It's a story of modern warfare—how it's fought, how it's endured, and how it changes us," said the director.

The documentary takes place during Ukraine's counteroffensive in 2023, following the military actions of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade. The filming began during the same time, as the soldiers advanced through the woods to liberate the occupied village of Andriivka near Bakhmut.
