The “Test in Ukraine” platform by Brave1 is already delivering results: Germany’s DIEHL Defence, best known for its IRIS-T air defense systems, has successfully tested its ground robotic complex (GRC) in Ukraine.

This was reported by Mikhaylo Fedorov.

This marks the first international trial under the Brave1 initiative, which was designed to allow global manufacturers to field-test their technologies under real combat conditions. Ukraine’s unique battlefield experience offers critical insights that help shape effective and adaptive defense technologies.

The DIEHL team conducted the trial at the training base of Ukraine’s 3rd Assault Brigade, where they were able to evaluate their GRC in conditions close to active warfare. Importantly, they received direct feedback from Ukrainian soldiers who regularly work with such systems, along with practical recommendations for tailoring the platform to frontline needs.

"We are scaling Ukraine’s experience through Test in Ukraine to a global level and helping international companies create effective solutions for modern technological warfare," wrote Fedorov.
