The 15th OIFF will take place from July 12 to 20, 2024, in Kyiv and is now open for film submissions to participate in the competitive programs.

To submit an application, it is necessary to fill out the online form available on the official festival website and provide all materials specified in the online form by 2:59 PM (Kyiv time) on May 1, 2024: https://www.submit.oiff.com.ua/en/films

For participation in the National Competition Program, full-length Ukrainian films of all genres, including fiction, non-fiction, animation, and experimental films, completed in 2023 or 2024, are eligible. Winners of the National Competition are determined in the categories of "Best Ukrainian Full-Length Fiction Film" and "Best Ukrainian Full-Length Documentary Film."

The International European Competition Program accepts full-length European films of all genres, including fiction, non-fiction, animation, and experimental films, completed in 2023 or 2024. The winner of the International European Competition is determined in the category of "Best European Full-Length Film."

Films submitted for the competitive programs may also be selected to participate in the non-competitive programs of the Film Festival.

Applications for the National and International Competition Programs are open from December 19, 2023, to May 1, 2024.
