The Ukrainian startup Pleso Therapy has secured $1.2 million in funding for further growth in the European market. The key investors in this round were Vchasno Group and TA Ventures.

The platform is currently active in Poland, Romania, and Ukraine, having conducted over 150,000 sessions for more than 20,000 users. Notably, over 80% of the company's sales now come from EU countries, and the sales volume has tripled in the past year, according to the press release.

"We've always aimed to attract only those investors who bring direct value to the development of our product — and this round has raised the bar of value to a whole new level. Vchasno Group provides marketplace expertise, TA Ventures brings know-how and connections in healthtech, and BADIdeas Fund brings a community of successful founders. Our goal is to leverage this expertise to the fullest," said CEO and co-founder of Pleso Therapy, Oleksandr Bondariev.

The $1.2 million investment will be directed towards several key areas. The company is building a strong team of marketing and product specialists working at the intersection of healthtech, artificial intelligence, and social impact.

At the same time, the development of AI features for deeper personalization continues — improving therapist-matching algorithms and enhancing the user experience. The team is scaling the customer base in the EU through acquisition channels with a focus on "healthy unit economics." The B2B direction is also growing, with clients such as Intellias, N-iX, Ciklum, and Uklon.

"We invested in Pleso because we have extensive experience in marketplaces and believe in this business model... Today, more than ever, it’s crucial to take care of mental health — and we are glad to support a service that helps people receive quality psychological support," said Mykola Paliienko, co-founder and CEO of Vchasno Group.

"Pleso offers not just a platform, but a holistic ecosystem for psychological support. At TA Ventures, we are excited to support this project and believe in its potential to change the mental health market in Europe. We will help the company grow through our global network of partners and expertise in healthtech," commented Victoria Tigipko, founder and managing partner at TA Ventures.

Pleso plans to expand into new European countries, enhance personalization for corporate clients, increase its team, and tap into new market segments.
