On the night of March 3, 2025 (from 19:00 on March 2), the Russian forces attacked with 83 Shahed-type strike UAVs and UAV imitators of various types from the directions of Orel, Kursk, Millerovo, and Primorsk-Akhtarsk (Russia).
The airstrike was repelled by anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Air Force and Defense Forces of Ukraine.
As of 08:30, 46 Shahed-type strike drones and other types of UAVs have been confirmed destroyed in Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
31 UAV imitators were lost by location (without negative consequences).
As a result of the Russian attack, Kharkiv, Sumy, Kyiv, Cherkasy, Dnipropetrovsk, and Zaporizhzhia regions were affected.
