From Avdiivka in Donetsk region, people continue to be evacuated, and at the moment, 976 individuals remain in the city.
This information is reported by the head of the Avdiivka municipal military administration, Vitaliy Barabash.
"Finally! Less than 1000," the message says.
It is noted that as of today, 976 civilians remain in Avdiivka. These are individuals who consciously chose to stay under the shelling of occupiers since the beginning of the "hot" phase of the war, refusing evacuation.
"It could have been more. But we are gradually evacuating people. Together with volunteers, 'white angels,' and rescuers," wrote Barabash.
He expressed gratitude to everyone who, in one way or another, contributes to such a dangerous task as the evacuation of the civilian population.
