As a result of the special operation, the "branches" of the so-called "Communist Party of the Soviet Union" were neutralized in Kyiv and six other regions of our country, according to the message of the Security Service of Ukraine.
The organization is controlled by the FSB of the Russian Federation and actively participates in subversive activities against Ukraine. After the beginning of the large-scale aggression, the organizers of the association tried to create a branched network of their own "regional committees" in our country.
Their "activists" were supposed to call for mass support of the Russian occupiers and set up "commandant's offices" to collect intelligence and prepare enemy sabotage. Local residents, including former and active soldiers who started their service during the Soviet Union, were campaigned to join their "branches".
The special service established that the pro-Kremlin organization is headed by Yury Shchipkov, the head of the "Central Committee of the Bolsheviks", who is in Moscow. It was on his instructions that underground "branches" of the association were created in Kyiv, as well as in the Kharkiv, Lviv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhya, Vinnytsia, and Chernihiv regions.
The enemy involved more than 45 people in their operation, who used their own homes for conspiratorial meetings of the enemy underground and planning subversive activities. Instructions for carrying out criminal actions were received directly from the head of the Moscow "central committee" through a specially created anonymous Telegram channel.
During searches of the places of residence of the accused, law enforcement officers discovered:
- Russian passports;
- unregistered weapons and ammunition;
- mobile phones with evidence of correspondence with the Russian "curator";
- pro-Kremlin propaganda materials.
According to the SSU materials, one of the organizers of the association was notified of suspicion under two articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
