On December 14, the film "Anatomy of a Fall," a French crime thriller, will be released by the film company "Arthaus Traffic." In 2023, the movie received the "Golden Palm" at the Cannes Film Festival, and its director, Justine Triet ("Sibyl," "In Bed with Victoria"), became the third woman in the festival's history to win the main award (preceded by Jane Campion in 1999 for "The Piano" and Julia Ducournau in 2021 for "Titane").
Sandra, her husband Samuel, and their son Daniel live a secluded life in a remote town in the French Alps. What follows is an investigation into the circumstances of Samuel's death and an unsettling journey into the depths of Sandra and Samuel's conflicted relationship.
