The Defense Forces of Ukraine successfully struck a maritime oil terminal in the occupied Feodosia on the night of October 7.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.

"Tonight, a successful strike was carried out on the enemy's maritime oil terminal located in the temporarily occupied Feodosia in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. A fire was recorded in the area of the facility. The consequences of the strike are being clarified," the report said.

The Feodosia terminal is the largest in Crimea for handling petroleum products, which were used, in particular, to supply the needs of the Russian army.

The operation was executed by the missile units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in coordination with other components of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

Efforts to undermine the military-economic potential of the Russian Federation are ongoing, the General Staff emphasized.

The attacked terminal is located on the eastern edge of Feodosia, near the village of Berehove. It was previously targeted by Ukrainian drones in March 2024, damaging a main pipeline for fuel transfer. This same terminal was attacked in December and November of last year.

According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, on the night of October 7, Russian air defense forces shot down 21 drones, including 12 over Crimea. There were no reports about the drone attack on the oil depot in Feodosia in the morning summary from the military department.

In August, Ukraine struck fuel facilities in the Rostov region multiple times with drones. After a fire at a fuel storage facility in Proletarsk that could not be extinguished for 16 days—during which even priests from the Russian Orthodox Church were involved—owners of oil depots in the region began to sell off their assets en masse.
