The defense forces shot down 58 Shahed drones and other types of UAVs that Russia used to attack Ukraine starting the evening of January 13.

The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Telegram.

Since 6:30 PM on January 13, Russian invaders launched 80 Shahed drones and imitator UAVs of various types from the directions of Millerovo, Orel, Kursk, and Primorsk-Akhtarsk.

The air assault was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups of the Air Force, and the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

As of 9:00 AM on January 14, 58 Shahed drones and UAVs of other types were confirmed shot down in the Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Cherkasy, Kyiv, Zhytomyr, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk, Mykolaiv, Odesa, and Kherson regions.
