The Ukrainian Armed Forces' unmanned systems, in coordination with other components of the Defense Forces, struck two important strategic facilities in Russia — the Ryazan and Novokuybyshevsk oil refineries.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.

The attack on the Ryazan oil refinery in the Ryazan region of Russia occurred on the night of March 9. Explosions were recorded in the vicinity of the target.

According to the General Staff, the Ryazan refinery is involved in supplying the Russian military. The facility produced an average of 840,000 tons of high-grade fuel for jet engines. During the strikes on Ukraine, Russian aviation actively uses TS-1 kerosene, produced at this refinery.

The strike on the production facilities of the Novokuybyshevsk oil refinery in the Samara region of Russia took place on the night of March 10. Fuel from this plant, as reported by the General Staff, is transported via pipelines and railways to supply the Russian military grouping in the northern direction.

Clarification of the consequences of the strikes on enemy facilities is ongoing.
