King Charles III of the United Kingdom met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Sunday evening at his estate in Norfolk. The meeting lasted about an hour.

Sky News reports this.

Zelensky arrived by helicopter from Lancaster House in London, where the European leaders' summit on Ukraine was held. King Charles III personally greeted him upon arrival at the estate.

According to The Guardian, the UK government approved the meeting following a request from the Ukrainian president.

A brief statement from Buckingham Palace, released after the meeting, read:

"This evening, His Majesty The King received President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in the Sandringham Salon."

It also noted that "the President was warmly received, and the meeting lasted just under an hour."

No further details about the discussion were provided.

The two leaders first met at Buckingham Palace in 2023. Last year, on the second anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion, the King delivered a strong message of support for Ukraine, condemning the "unbelievable" aggression faced by Ukrainians and praising their "determination and strength."
