The Russian forces launched an overnight attack with 115 drones

On the night of September 27 (starting at 21:00 on September 26), the Russian forces launched an attack with 115 strike UAVs, including Shahed, Gerbera, and other drone types, from the directions of Kursk, Millerovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia, as well as Chauda in occupied Crimea. More than 70 of them were Shahed drones.

The air assault was countered by Ukrainian aviation, air defense missile units, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

According to preliminary data, as of 09:00, Ukrainian air defense had shot down or neutralized 97 UAVs of Shahed, Gerbera, and other types over the north, south, east, and center of the country.

Seventeen strike drones hit six locations, and debris from downed UAVs fell in two additional locations.
