The counterintelligence of the Security Service of Ukraine detained another Russian agent in Dnipro. She was spying on military convoys and coordinating missile and drone strikes by Russian forces on the regional center.

As the investigation revealed, to track the movement of Ukrainian Armed Forces trains heading towards the front, the offender set up a "video trap" opposite the railway track.

For this purpose, she placed a decoy birdhouse on a tree, inside which she hid a camera with an additional battery.

With the help of the camouflaged gadget, Russian intelligence agents were able to monitor the number and cargo of military convoys in real-time.

SSU officers uncovered the agent in advance, documented her crimes, and detained her at her place of residence. At the same time, the Security Service conducted comprehensive measures to secure the defense forces' routes.

According to the investigation, the detainee turned out to be a 46-year-old resident of Dnipro, who was looking for "easy money" on Telegram channels.

In addition to spying on the military convoys, the agent also toured the area, trying to identify and pass on the coordinates of mobile anti-aircraft fire groups defending the front-line city to the Russian forces.

During the searches, a video camera with flash drives, a mobile phone, and a SIM card with evidence of crimes were seized from her.

The investigators of the Security Service informed the detainee of her suspicion under Part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (treason committed under martial law).

The offender is in custody. She faces life imprisonment with asset confiscation.
