The Security Service of Ukraine records a significant increase in the activity of Russian intelligence services in conducting information-psychological operations in Ukraine.
Recently, there has been a sharp rise in the number of information sabotage operations aimed at dividing society and artificially spreading protest sentiments.
For provocations, Russian intelligence services have mobilized the full potential of their bot farms and are widely using controlled groups and fake accounts in popular messengers and social networks, with the most active presence on TikTok and Telegram.
In destructive content, the enemy spreads fake information about alleged protest sentiments among Ukrainians and street riots in various regions of our country. At the same time, the Russians are calling on citizens to participate in mass actions to disrupt public order and the constitutional order, offering money for participation in the rallies.
The Security Service is taking all necessary response measures and addressing existing and potential threats to Ukraine's national security.
The SSU urges citizens to stay vigilant and not to respond to enemy provocations, which Russia uses in an attempt to destabilize the internal situation in our country.
It should be noted that actions aimed at forcibly changing or overthrowing the constitutional order or seizing state power (especially under certain restrictions set by the Law of Ukraine ‘On the Legal Regime of Martial Law’) constitute a crime under Article 109 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, which provides for a punishment of up to 10 years in prison.
The experience of the heroic resistance of Ukrainians to Russian aggression has repeatedly proven that it is in unity that our people are capable of most effectively countering the enemy. And no Russian IPSO can undermine our national spirit!
