The Ukrainian Congress Committee of America (UCCA) will host an advocacy event for Ukraine, "Ukrainian Days," on February 24–25 at the U.S. Congress in Washington, D.C.

This was announced by the Ukrainian World Congress (UWC).

The main goal of the event is to continue advancing Ukraine's urgent interests, including expanding sanctions against Russia, recognizing Russia as a state sponsor of terrorism, raising awareness of Russia's war crimes—such as the abduction of Ukrainian children—and expressing gratitude to elected officials for their support of Ukraine.

“Help us advance our community’s concerns and meet your elected officials!” the UCCA said.

Before the event, participants will attend an online briefing to explain key aspects and the course of the initiative. Additionally, organizers will provide necessary informational materials.

Ukrainian Days is a traditional event for the Ukrainian community in the U.S. The previous event took place last May, when Ukrainians urged American lawmakers to increase support for Ukraine.

The UWC emphasized that this initiative is an excellent opportunity to meet with representatives and senators in their local districts and states. This year's event is dedicated to the third anniversary of Russia's genocidal war against Ukraine.
