Ukraine's Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov made a working visit to the United Kingdom, during which he held talks with the Secretary of State for Defense, John Healey.
The main topic of the meeting was the coordination of plans for bilateral cooperation in 2025 on key security and defense issues.
Rustem Umerov expressed gratitude to the British people and government for their comprehensive support of Ukraine.
"The United Kingdom has confirmed its readiness to provide continuous and comprehensive support to strengthen Ukraine's position both on the battlefield and on the international stage," the Ukrainian defense minister emphasized.
During the negotiations, agreements were reached on further strengthening military, political, and economic assistance to Ukraine. Special attention was given to the development of Ukraine's defense-industrial complex.
"The United Kingdom has already invested in the production of our weapons, and this cooperation continues: in particular, funding will be directed towards the production of air defense/missile defense systems and long-range weapons," Rustem Umerov concluded.
