A working meeting was held in Warsaw under the Memorandum of Understanding between Ukraine’s Ministry for Communities and Territories Development and Korea’s Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries.

The main focus was on strategic directions for sustainable development of Ukraine’s port infrastructure and the presentation of a report on the “Master Plan and Feasibility Study for the Reconstruction of Ukraine’s Ports.”

Oleksii Panasiuk, Head of the International Relations Department at the Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority, participated in the meeting.

The plan aims to support Ukraine’s maritime sector, integrate it into European transport chains, and strengthen the country’s role as a key transport hub in the Black Sea region.

Discussions highlighted the restoration of Ukraine’s port infrastructure, modernization of specialized fleets, and the introduction of electronic port management systems.

The parties signed a protocol confirming their readiness to jointly explore opportunities for implementing the projects, including financing options and practical steps for execution.
