Ukraine and the United States have signed a memorandum confirming their intention to finalize and conclude an agreement on mineral resources.

This was announced by Economy Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko.

“We are preparing to establish an Investment Fund for the Reconstruction of Ukraine. The corresponding agreement will open opportunities for substantial investments, infrastructure modernization, and mutually beneficial partnership between Ukraine and the United States — this is the goal our teams are working toward,” she emphasized.

Svyrydenko added that the next steps include finalizing the text of the agreement and signing it, followed by ratification by both parliaments.

“It is important that through our agreements we reaffirm the American people's commitment to investing together with the Ukrainian people in a free, sovereign, and secure Ukraine. Next comes the finalization of the Agreement text and its signing, followed by ratification by both parliaments. I thank our technical teams — both Ukrainian and American — for their professional, constructive, and swift work,” she emphasized.
