During the night of July 11 (from 6:00 p.m. on July 10), Russian forces launched an attack using six Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles from Russia's Bryansk region, four Kh-59/69 air-launched guided missiles fired from the airspace over the temporarily occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea, two Kh-31 anti-radiation missiles launched from the Black Sea, and 121 attack drones, including Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and Parodiya decoy UAVs. The drones were launched from Kursk, Millerovo, Oryol, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), the temporarily occupied part of Donetsk region, and Hvardiiske and Chauda in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
The aerial assault was repelled by Ukraine's Air Force, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, as well as mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 8:30 a.m., Ukrainian air defenses had shot down or suppressed two Kh-59/69 guided air-launched missiles and 111 drones, including Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and other UAV types, across northern, southern, and eastern Ukraine.
Impacts from ballistic missiles, two guided air-launched missiles, and seven attack drones were recorded at 11 locations. Debris from intercepted aerial targets fell at three additional locations. Information regarding the two Kh-31 anti-radiation missiles is still being clarified. No reports of casualties or damage related to those missiles have been received.
