The Ukrainian Navy has received boats similar to the American RAB (Riverine Assault Boat).
A corresponding video was released by the Ukrainian Navy press service.
It was reported that the boats were involved in river crossing exercises and amphibious landings.
The conclusion that these are 10-meter RAB boats can be made based on several characteristic features – the distinctive camouflage pattern similar to ERDL/Woodland, the presence of gunwales, and a stern panel above the "threshold," which has a mount for a machine gun. However, it is also possible, though less likely, that these could be a related "special operations" version – the SOC-R (Special Operations Craft – Riverine).
The shooting angle does not allow for a precise identification, but the machine gun mount at the stern suggests that these are RAB boats.
RAB and SOC-R boats are used for riverine and coastal operations. Their hulls are made of aluminum, and their length is the same, approximately 10 meters (33 feet), with a draft of about 0.6 meters (2 feet).
The maximum speed of fully loaded boats is around 40 knots.
