In August 2025, Ukraine exported 4.0 million tons of agricultural products, which is 15.6% more than the same indicator of the previous month.

In Ukraine, the volumes of the already harvested crop are increasing, and therefore exports are also becoming more active, explain analysts of the Ukrainian Agribusiness Club.

“In the structure of exports, there is growth in shipments of grains (due to wheat) and oilseeds (due to rapeseed). Shipments of processed oilseed products, on the contrary, are decreasing due to reduced processing volumes at the end of the season,” explain the specialists.

The structure of product exports in August 2025 looked as follows:

  • Grain crops — 2.5 million tons (wheat — 77%, barley — 13%, corn — 10%), growth compared to the previous month — 52%
  • Oilseeds — 682.4 thousand tons (rapeseed — 71%, soy — 28%), growth — 30%
  • Vegetable oils — 211.2 thousand tons (sunflower oil — 71%, soy — 17%, rapeseed — 12%), decrease — 59%
  • Oilseed meals after oil extraction — 280.4 thousand tons (sunflower — 60%, soy — 40%), decrease — 35%
  • Other types of agro-industrial products — 322.4 thousand tons, decrease — 2%
