The team from the Ministry for Communities and Territories Development presented recovery projects to the German delegation that could be of interest to businesses for future investment.
This was reported by the Ministry's press service.
The meeting with the German partners focused on the prospects for further investment in Ukraine’s recovery, the implementation of large-scale infrastructure projects, and the development of public-private partnerships.
The Ministry emphasized key priorities in the reconstruction process: the restoration of critical infrastructure, energy-efficient housing construction, modernization of heating systems, and the upgrade of water supply and wastewater systems.
"At present, more than 1,200 projects have been developed that can be implemented with the involvement of both Ukrainian and international businesses — either through public-private partnerships or with donor support. For us, the priority is not only the speed of recovery, but also its quality, resilience, and technological advancement," emphasized Kostiantyn Kovalchuk.
The participants discussed opportunities for joint project implementation in Ukraine, the involvement of German businesses in international recovery programs, and the potential establishment of sectoral working groups for coordination.
