Ukraine has received €3.3 million ($3.39 million) in aid from Estonia, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg. The assistance includes laptops, scanners, tablets, and more.
This was reported by the head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Rustem Umerov.
The aid from the allies includes:
- 1,026 workstations for the Oberih registry: laptops, printers, webcams, barcode scanners;
- 1,000 laptops for various information and communication systems in the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- Equipment for the data processing center of the Armed Forces of Ukraine;
- 20,000 two-factor authentication keys for users of the DELTA combat system;
- 3,520 tablets for tactical-level use by the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
As Umerov noted, the assistance is part of the IT coalition programme. This support enables Ukrainian soldiers to use modern digital technologies for operational control of troops, coordination of actions, and enhancing data security.
The IT coalition is a special group of countries within the Ukraine Defense Contact Group Ramstein, led by Estonia and Luxembourg. The goal of the coalition is to build a secure and reliable IT infrastructure for the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and Ukraine's defense forces.
