Ukraine wants to organize a meeting in Kyiv with the leaders of its partner countries, scheduled for February 24—the anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion.
President Volodymyr Zelensky announced this at the Munich Security Conference.
Zelensky emphasized the need for Ukraine and European countries to have a unified foreign policy and coordinated diplomacy. He stated that ending the war could be the first shared success of such an approach.
"We are already working to ensure that on February 24, the third anniversary of Russia's full-scale invasion, we can gather together in Kyiv and online—all European leaders, all key partners who support our security. From Spain to Finland, from the United Kingdom to Poland, from Washington to Tokyo," the president added.
According to him, the meeting should provide a clear vision for the next steps concerning peace, security guarantees, and the future of Ukraine’s and Europe’s joint policy.
