On the night of Sunday, March 30, Ukraine will switch to daylight saving time. At 3:00 AM Kyiv time, clocks will be set forward by one hour.
The practice of switching between winter and daylight saving time has been in place in Ukraine for almost four decades, occurring on the last Sunday of March and the last Sunday of October. This is regulated by a Cabinet of Ministers decree from May 13, 1996, No. 509, "On the Procedure for Time Calculation in Ukraine."
Last July, the Ukrainian Parliament passed a law abolishing seasonal time changes, leaving only winter time in the country.
