Ukraine’s harvest progresses in 9 regions, approaching one million tons

As of July 5, 2025, Ukraine has harvested 331.9 thousand hectares and collected 865.7 thousand tons of early grains and leguminous crops. Ukrainian farmers are approaching the first million tons of the new harvest, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy reports.

Harvest volumes by crop:

  • Wheat — 277.8 thousand tons from 107.4 thousand hectares;
  • Barley — 501.2 thousand tons from 176.6 thousand hectares;
  • Peas — 83.8 thousand tons from 47.2 thousand hectares.

Currently, harvesting is underway in nine regions. The leader in grain and legume collection is Odessa region — 175.8 thousand hectares harvested, yielding 516.2 thousand tons.

In Mykolaiv region — 119.7 thousand hectares harvested, yielding 276.7 thousand tons; in Dnipropetrovsk region — 17.7 thousand hectares harvested, yielding 37.2 thousand tons.

Farmers in Mykolaiv, Odessa, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson regions have already collected 71.6 thousand tons of rapeseed from 46 thousand hectares.
