Overnight, Ukraine’s Defense Forces neutralized 88 out of 104 drones launched by the Russian army in the skies over Ukraine, with strikes recorded in six locations.
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
On the night of June 19 (starting from 9:00 p.m. on June 18), the Russian forces launched 104 attack UAVs — including Shahed drones and various types of decoy drones — from Millerovo, Kursk, Oryol, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk in Russia, as well as Chauda in occupied Crimea.
The aerial attack was repelled by aircraft, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare units, drone systems, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine’s Defense Forces.
As of 8:30 a.m., air defense forces had neutralized 88 UAVs — Shaheds and other types — in the north, east, south, and central regions of the country. Of these, 40 were shot down by firepower and 48 were jammed or lost through electronic warfare.
Russian air strikes were confirmed to have hit targets in 6 locations.
