The first control complex and four Fly Eye drones were delivered to Ukraine. Tomorrow, they will go to the front to reinforce the Armed Forces. Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov and head of the State Special Forces Yury Shchygol talked about the specifics of Fly Eye and other copters purchased within the framework of the "Army of Drones" project. And they also presented UAVs of Ukrainian production "Skif", "Skyton" and "Ukrjet", which can potentially also be purchased for the Drone Army.

In total, more than UAH 751 million were collected for the Drone Army through the UNITED24 platform. For the first 260 million of this amount, contracts were signed for the purchase of two control stations and 20 Fly Eye drones, 78 Matrice multicopters, and two ground systems for 20 Warmate kamikaze attack drones.

These high-tech drones help track enemy actions, change military strategies, and, most importantly, save as many military and civilian lives as possible.

"I am convinced that in the future, the advantage of the army will not lie in a large number of manpower. And in technologies and the ability to use them. And thanks to the Drone Army, our military proves it daily with their results on the front. We will continue to scale this project. We are currently conducting negotiations on further purchases of powerful drones with Ukrainian and international manufacturers," said Mykhailo Fedorov.

Fly Eye drones develop speeds of up to 160 kilometers per hour. They can be launched by hand, which is a significant advantage because it is not always possible to start from a launcher. They are compatible with Western missile and artillery installations, which use an automated fire control system. This makes it possible to define goals effectively.

Matrices are powered by artificial intelligence, and their target-focusing thermal imagers can pinpoint potential threats. The Warmate has a fully autonomous engagement system that works on a "shoot and forget" concept. This drone can work on different types of targets: infantry, cover, bunkers or light hideouts.

"The State Special Forces is purchasing copters to help our army resist the invaders. Agreements have already been signed for the purchase of DJI Matrice, Fly Eye drones and their control stations. And this is just the beginning. We will not stop work until we achieve the main goal — victory over the enemy," Yuriy Shchygol said.

Through the UNITED24 platform, drones were delivered to the Army from 74 countries. The most significant number of donations came from Ukraine, USA, Canada, Great Britain, Germany, Ireland, France, Switzerland, Australia, Israel. There is also an opportunity within the Drone Army to donate your own copter to the Armed Forces.
