Ukrainian Defense Forces have raised the Ukrainian flag on the Kinburn Spit.
This was reported by the regional command of the Territorial Defense Forces South of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.
“As a result of powerful fire strikes, the Defense Forces in the south forced the occupiers to withdraw from their positions; the evacuation of surviving personnel is underway, and the occupiers are abandoning their defensive lines,” the statement said.
In the partisan movement ATESH, it was stated that actions by Ukraine’s Defense Forces to cut supply routes forced Russian forces to hastily evacuate from the Kinburn Spit in the Mykolaiv region.
